We're looking for an experienced Sales Consultant to be part of our growing company. If you’re an experienced sales consultant with a passion for the digital marketing space, we’d love to hear from you!
Geear specializes in providing digital marketing and marketing data integration services to credit unions and community banks throughout the United States. Additionally, we are experts with HubSpot platforms and sell those capabilities to our client base. We serve clients nationwide and operate 100% virtually with occasional travel to see prospects and clients.
What You'll Do
- Prospect into our targeted vertical industries, credit unions, and community banks, where we have a positive reputation, several success stories, and years of experience.
- Participate in industry trade shows and other appropriate events to bring awareness of Geear services to the target market and to attract new prospects.
- Develop and manage a structured sales pipeline of opportunities from initial identification of a marketing qualified lead through to proposal acceptance, executing consistent, thoughtful follow-ups to nurture qualified prospects through the buying process
- Conduct initial exploratory and discovery conversations to evaluate prospect goals and evaluate the extent to which our services can meet their goals.
- Develop tailored proposals and digital marketing strategies in collaboration with our internal subject matter experts, present plans to prospects, and close deals
Who You Are
- You have experience selling digital marketing and/or CRM/automation solutions—ideally including HubSpot—where consultative discovery and long-term relationships matter.
- You believe in problem-first, not product-first selling. You care about diagnosing real needs and recommending the right approach—not pushing a package.
- You understand that sustainable revenue comes from delivering value, building trust, and creating clients who love working with us.
- You work collaboratively (not in a silo) with internal teams and show up as a partner. You know that growth happens when sales, strategy, and delivery are aligned.
- You embody our GEEAR values (Growth, Empathy, Essentialism, Accountability, and Right) in how you communicate, prioritize, and build relationships.
- Bonus Points: Experience selling into credit unions, community banks, or financial services, or familiarity with complex tech/data environments.

Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in solution-based marketing and data integration services
- Strong communication and presentation skills—you make complex ideas simple and engaging
- High emotional intelligence and an ability to read between the lines in client conversations
- Comfort using HubSpot CRM (or similar) for pipeline management and follow-up
- Creative, forward-thinking self-starter with an attention to detail and drive to produce consistent and quality work
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, coupled with highly developed interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills

Compensation
- Base salary: $50,000 - $75,000/yr
- Expected near-term earnings in excess of $150,000
